Cactus Cooler
What do cacti, pineapple, and being cold have in common? Absolutely nothing!!!! But apparently this soda thinks they do. With a majestic sun rising in the background of the American South-West, this poorly colored can was bestowed upon us by the 7-Up/Dr. Pepper Company. And they had been doing well with design.
The colour is a clear yellowish-orange. It makes one realise why they sell this in opaque cans, and not bottles. It does make one wonder. It has quite a sharp flavour right at first, and tastes strongly of pineapple. Indeed, they should've labeled it pineapple-orange and not orange-pineapple. The flavour is soft, until it moves across your tongue.. At that point, your tastebuds and the excessive carbonation go to war. It isn't a problem if you down it quickly. Just don't let it linger. Swished, it leaves a strange metalic taste in the mouth, but it does bubble quite quickly. There is little to no stall, which is quite disappointing. Doctor, you can do better.
