みずほ ラムネ Mizuho Ramune Orange

Finally got around to reviewing a foreign soda. Hailing from the wonderful land of anime and companies that produce both motorbikes and pianos, this little drink certainly gets points for its intrucate bottle. Thankfully, the bottle includes instructions on how to use it, because if it didn't I would be totally lost. It certainly is a strange method.
The colour looks good. Not too light, but a little on the lighter side. The bottle is a little hard to drink from. This may be one of those bottles where you have to use a straw. I don't see how you're supposed to get it through the neck of the bottle though. The flavour is very light and soft. There is an ample amount of carbonation that hits you right at the beginning of the sip. It isn't a very thick liquid, so there is no stall, and the swishability is minimal at best. The flavour is too off for my taste if I'm honest, it doesn't taste much like oranges. It isn't very sweet either. Almost like coloured club soda. Sorry Japan, you haven't impressed me.

  2. I do not share your affinity for orange soda (I’m more of a root beer kind of person), but I thoroughly enjoy reading your blog. It’s witty, educational, and inspiring. Out of all the orange connoisseur blogs I’ve read in my lifetime, I give this one highest marks: 7 out of 7 oranges!
